The key timing rule: The 2-week window before monsoon onset is the last effective fertiliser window. After heavy rains start, nutrients are flushed through the pot before roots can absorb them. Feed before the rain, not during it.

The Kerala monsoon arrived on May 26, 2026. If your hibiscus is in a container on a terrace or balcony, do these three things in the next 48 hours:
